You will join a growing team dealing with innovative aspects of law and will have the chance to co-shape this emerging legal field. At the same time, you will be exposed to market-leading clients, creative projects and cutting-edge technologies.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Your role as an Associate will focus on the delivery of client engagements, under the supervision of more senior lawyers, by understanding expectations and demonstrating personal accountability for keeping performance on track, exercising effective communication and relationship-building skills and contributing to the priorities of the team and the business. In this role, you will commit to personal learning and development and explore opportunities to make an impact by delivering exceptional client services.

During your tenure you will demonstrate and develop the ability to:

  • Implement tailor-made AI Law compliance programs for clients active in a wide range of industries (including the EU AI Act, the EU AI Liability Directive, Greek AI legislation);
  • Provide innovative services such as legal management consulting, helping clients’ in-house legal departments optimize people, processes and technology, achieving efficiencies;
  • Engage in the creation and implementation of legal tech solutions;
  • Conduct research and analysis on emerging trends and developments in AI, technology and legal innovation;
  • Collaborate effectively within multi-disciplinary and multi-national teams, including software developers and business analysts;
  • Participate in business development and marketing activities.

 

OUR REQUIREMENTS

Our ideal candidate is a bright and ambitious lawyer that focuses on delivering work of high quality, is naturally curious and commits to high levels of client service. We expect that you also have strong interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

In particular, to qualify for the role you must have:

  • qualified as an Attorney-at-Law in Greece (Athens Bar Association or other Bar Association membership);
  • at least two (2) years of work experience at a law firm, law office or in-house;
  • prior work experience or a proven interest in artificial intelligence or other regulatory compliance program, coupled with solid knowledge of AI developments;
  • advanced technology literacy; 
  • a problem-solving and creative attitude;
  • a mindset that challenges the status quo of traditional legal service delivery;
  • an excellent command of the English language;
  • a professional approach, commercial awareness and strong communication skills.

Preferred skills:

  • a Master of Laws (LL.M.) or equivalent postgraduate qualification from a prominent, well-acclaimed University in Greece or abroad;
  • ·    in-house legal experience.
